For those of you who are not familiar with this Canadian band, I would suggest pretending that you are if you are around any of the "cool kids." With a fabulous live show and dedicated fan base, this three-piece play a style of indie-rock folk that is boldly visual and could easily be transferred onto a canvas. Their music is filled with the acrylic tales of their lives both past and present, with no attempt at hiding the loose brush hairs. With each song having a unique rhythm born from towns left and hearts changed, they easily mixed themselves into my writing routine.
Both of their full length albums, "Hometowns" officially released in 2009, and their follow up "Departing" released in 2011, have received critical praise across North America. If you like what you hear below, support their great music by visiting: iTunes, Saddle Creek Records (US) or at Paper Bag Records (Canada)
Thanks...
