Music Monday - Noel Gallagher

Admittedly, my passion for music borders on an obsession. I guess attending hundreds of concerts and amassing what appears to be an endless collection of new and old music can do that to you.

With so much to choose from when writing or editing, relying on legends is something I do quite often. The songs are familiar, there is an established relationship, and there is something to be said about a pace you know and obviously love. But this week's artist, the one and only Noel Gallagher, is also arguably one of the best lyricist of all time. Yes, I just said that. But come on North America, quit labeling him with fights that mostly happened a decade ago and recognize him for what his is...a legendary musician and artist. Plain and simple. Plus, he is just so damn cool.

His current band, "Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds," have a self-titled smash record across the globe. They are also currently co-headlining festivals across Europe and will be on their way back to North America for a third time to tour this record.
