Reading Festival: capacity 75,000.
Leeds Festival: capacity 75,000.
T in the Park: capacity 80,000.
The headliners...Kasabian.This English rock band are deservedly massive. There is no way around this statement...except for here in North America.
Maybe it is because their music is as unique as the band members themselves. But that is one of the reasons I rely on them when writing and editing. Their albums are filled with heart-thumping-anthems positioned right next to songs influenced by the psychedelic and the rhythm of Motown. They are always keeping you guessing, and engaged.
This brazen group are the current Kings of England. But it didn't happen over night. Since their debut album, Kasabian in 2004, their catalogue has provided us with songs that have had them labeled electronica, rock, indie to pop. With tracks like "Club Foot", "L.S.F." and "Underdog" leading the way, these UK chart toppers have something for everyone.
If you would like to connect with the band check them out on Twitter. You can also stream their latest release, "Velociraptor" here, before you buy it iTunes. Or if you want, you can also check out their entire back catalogue over at iTunes here.
NOTE: If you are having trouble viewing these VEVO official videos, most likely iOS users, you can check out their official videos over on YouTube.
